Visit: about the Thesaurus, Rear Window (ESP)

Rear Window is an on-line dossier that shows the process of creation and design of the project Archive-Thesaurus created by the Fundació Antoni Tàpies.

By surfing through a mosaic of images and texts, we can find the variety of literary, philosophical and visual references that are being used to reflect on an on-line service that deals with the way artistic practice can be archived. In fact, this on-line dossier is an initial approximation to the way the future Archive-Thesaurus will be organised.

The different references that make up the mosaic relate to each other in a random manner or through thematic lines that, together with the puzzle of images, suggest possible ways of reading the archive. All this enables the multiplicity of quotations to establish a dialogue depending on the place they occupy, and to create numerous variations on the theme.

Rear Window is an invitation by a working team to participate in their process of creation, and a way of showing their conceptual principles
